Hi oriky,
the Floura (or grolux by sylvania) bulbs have no advantages compared standard 865 whites.
On the downside, they are quite expensive and have a comparable shorter life expectancy, so don't expect miraculous results.

cheers!

Hi Fred thank you for the answer, what is the 865 whites? - it's the "normal" cool white? - i saw the Floura have Blue and Red execution, the normal cool-white have only Blue, am i wrong?

Hi oriky,
im not sure wether the naming is completely standardized, over here cool white is usually refered to code 840 while 865 is called cool daylight , at least in Osram datasheets.
This might be useful-klick!
You are right, fluora tubes have an enhanced red and blue spectrum but their overall output is quite low, I suppose they are made more or less the same way since the sixties. scratch
Since then other, more efficient luminescent materials have been developed and since a white spectrum already contains a fair bit of red and blue it makes sense to just get the affordable white bulbs and run with them Cool

best regards

Fred

PS: My somewhat limited experience didn't show a difference between 840 and 865 Bulbs.
